Birth date: 1958

Cinematographer, director of documentary films. Graduate of the Cinematography Department at the Film Łódź Film School. Member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers, the Polish Film Academy, the European Film Academy and the Asia Film Awards Academy. Lecturer of cinematography at the Łódź Film School and Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ludwigsburg. Director of photography in feature-length films directed by Mariusz Grzegorzek ("Goliathus, Goliathus", "Conversation with a Cupboard Man", "The Queen of Angels"), Niko Bruecher ("Wedding Guests", "Marie's Song"), Niko von Glasow ("The Edelweiss Pirates"), Ulla Wagner ("Anna Wunder"), Przemysław Wojcieszek ("Louder than bombs", "Down the Colourful Hill", "Made in Poland"), Adam Guziński ("The Boy on the Galloping Horse"), Sergiej Dwortsevoj ("Tulpan"), Agnieszka Holland ("In Darkness"). Awarded many times for her cinematography, including in Gdynia, Bitola, Park City. Winner of the Camerimage Golden Frog for „In Darkness” directed by Agnieszka Holland and also of the The Eagle- Polish Film Award, the German Film Award, Asian Film Awards (for „Tulpan”). Also received numerous awards in Poland and abroad for her documentaries: „Chronicle of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising According to Marek Edelman”, „Children of the night”, „Po-Lin. Okruchy pamięci”.

Received a Silver Medal "Zasłużony Kulturze - Gloria Artis" in 2013.

Graduated from Lodz Film School in 1995 - Direction of Photography Department.
